The Macallan ‘Rare Cask’ Single Malt Whisky is an icon of Speyside. It is made from hand-selected American and European oak barrels seasoned with Sherry and owes its mahogany ruby color solely to the wood. On the nose, notes of vanilla and raisin open up, followed by hints of fresh apple, lemon, and orange. The palate is sweet and velvety, with echoes of raisin, dark chocolate, and citrus zest on a long and rich finish. Perfect alongside a dark chocolate tart
