Martin Miller's is a name that has become synonymous with the renaissance of gin. The distillery was founded in 1999 by Martin Miller himself who, together with his two friends and fellow adventurers David Bromige and Andreas Versteegh, launched his first distillate. This product was designed to provide an answer - and a breakthrough - to the widespread lack of high quality gin, designed especially to stimulate and encourage a younger consumer group. It all began at a table in a bar in London's famous Notting Hill district where three friends were gazing unhappily at their gin and tonics. Suddenly, Martin expressed his desire to produce, claiming: "Gin is like history in a glass. It has created social revolutions, it has created laws and it has broken them. Moreover, it simply wouldn't exist if Marco Polo and the early travellers hadn't travelled the Silk Road'. From that moment on, the adventure began and steadily moved in the direction of absolute quality.

Since 1999, the Miller distillery has used a single copper still dating back to 1898 which was built by John Dore and his sons. This still is considered exceptional for the production of spirits and an iconic piece of history, to the extent that it has even been named after a woman at the distillery, Angela. Its special characteristic is the thicker copper and the size of the swan neck, which plays a key role in the production process as the condensation of vapours takes place inside it. The botanicals used to flavour the distillate change over the sequence of the various distillations. As in all the best production processes, the heads and tails are carefully removed to preserve only the best and most valuable part of the heart. A secret ingredient of Martin Miller's Gin is certainly the very pure water that is used, which comes from Iceland's glaciers.

The Martin Miller's distillery is somewhat of a gin "boutique", where this distillate is enhanced in all its versions. Its fame has reached the most prestigious destinations in cities all over the world, becoming popular for its undisputed quality. Martin Miller's Gin is the pure result of a genuine passion that led this eccentric enthusiast to embark on a new path dedicated to the production of Gin. He was the pioneer of a new approach that many others would later adopt, carefully following in his footsteps.
