Since 1900, Masùt da Rive is the name that the members of the Gallo family have been known by in the town of Mariano del Friuli. Well-established in the province of Gorizia, they have dedicated themselves for generations to the care of the grapes in their own vineyards and to the meticulous search for perfection in the cellar. Respecting the tradition learned over the decades but applying it to a modern, evolved and cosmopolitan taste, Masùt da Rive produces wine with the sole purpose of achieving elegance and aromatic finesse. The main motivation that drives these winemakers is the desire to faithfully express the characteristic organoleptic qualities of this terroir. Although it has always been a land of great white wines, it also offers excellent interpretations of Pinot Noir, one of the winery's most important products.

For Masùt da Rive, the quest for quality begins in the vineyard: the natural cycles of the vine are respected and carefully followed in order to understand the perfect moment of ripeness for harvesting. The harvests are carried out strictly by hand before arriving in the cellar, where the interventions are decided according to the specific quality of each vintage. The tendency is to keep the aromatic properties of the fruit intact, enhancing the aromatic qualities obtained through precise ripening in the vineyard. Soft pressing under vacuum is followed by fermentation using selected yeasts. The base wines are then aged in stainless steel for the white wines to maintain freshness, and in fine French wood for the reds to enhance their structure.

The distinctive features of Masùt da Rive wines are appreciated because of their fine, elegant whites and reds identified by their longevity and character, which are diversified along several ranges: the "Scudi" selection, which uniquely represents the classics of the area, followed by the top labels, identified by the "White Label" and "Black Label". These are the result of a careful selection of the best grapes, which are the raw materials for wines of great value.
