The Sciare dell'Alba Winery is a gem nestled in Mascali, in the province of Catania. Founded through the combination of winemaking experiences of Elisabetta Abrami and the Urzì Family, this winery emerges with a strong maritime influence, thanks to the family's roots in the Gulf of Etna. The winery's story begins with Elisabetta, a determined woman who, after cultivating her love for Pinot Noir in Provaglio d'Iseo, began producing organic Franciacorta, founding the Abrami Elisabetta winery. The encounter between the maritime experiences of the Urzì Family and the farming practices of Etna gave rise to Sciare dell'Alba, located in an enchanted territory where Pinot Noir meets Nerello Mascalese, giving life to exceptional wine production. With vineyards undergoing organic conversion and an altitude ranging from 500 to 700 meters above sea level, the winery benefits from significant temperature variation, contributing to the concentration of aromatic substances in the grapes.

Sciare dell'Alba adopts a production philosophy based on organic farming, with vineyards extending on the eastern slope of Mount Etna. The particular altitude and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea are key elements contributing to the production of high-quality wines. The volcanic origin soil, predominantly sandy and rich in skeleton and organic matter, finds its correspondence in the meaning of the word "Sciara," which indicates accumulations of volcanic slag. This attention to terroir and grape selection, combined with traditional winemaking practices, gives Sciare dell'Alba wines a distinctive character and extraordinary taste.

The history of Sciare dell'Alba is marked by extreme viticulture, which has given Elisabetta and the Urzì family a micro-production of Etna Doc wines, in white, rosé, and red varieties. The winery aims to celebrate gastronomic excellence, presenting genuine and authentic flavors to the world, the result of a precious territory influenced by the climate and colors of Catania. 'Alba', in fact, a term present within the name, represents precisely the moment when night becomes day on the eastern slope of Mount Etna and the instant when the sun bathes the Ionian Sea and the winery's soil.
