The Elderflower Fever Tree is a tonic water flavored with elderflower, added during production to the original recipe created by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrilow, based on natural ingredients and quinine extract from the Congo. Like all other mixer drinks from Fever-Tree, it is produced solely from extracts and natural ingredients, without the addition of preservatives and synthetic sweeteners, using low amounts of cane sugar and carbonated spring water. Produced only for a few years, it has become one of the most appreciated variants of the prestigious Fever-Tree tonic water range, spreading worldwide.
The Elderflower tonic water is the perfect combination of the delicate bitter notes of quinine extract and the sweetness of elderflowers. To achieve the highest quality, only the petals of the elderflowers are used, hand-picked at night in a small farm in Gloucestershire, in South West England, at the foot of the Cotswold Hills. The elderberry bushes of Gloucestershire are the most prized throughout the United Kingdom and, between May and June, they color the entire territory white with their blooming. The aromatic quality of these flowers has been particularly appreciated by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrilow, who traveled the world searching for the best botanical ingredients for their high-quality productions.
