Bianco Jeune Chateau Musar 2023
The ‘Jeune’ White from Chateau Musar is a young white wine of medium body aged only in steel and endowed with a rich aromatic profile: notes of white fruit and Mediterranean herbs best express the personality of the Franco-Italian blend used: Viognier, Vermentino, and Chardonnay.
This Bianco Jeaune presents itself with a decidedly aromatic profile, a true calling card for a young and smooth wine, which, thanks to a maturation process carried out only in steel, maintains an enviable fragrance. Château Musar, a leading winery in Lebanon, once again confirms its mastery in blending different grape varieties into a blend where balance and harmony are the keys to a satisfying drink. A bottle to taste to be captivated by a wine original and out of the ordinary, ideal also for enhancing one’s knowledge in the field of oenology and for tasting one of the excellences of an ancient wine terroir.
The Bianco Jeaune wine is born from a skillful blend where Italian and French white grape varieties come together impeccably: Viognier, Vermentino, and Chardonnay. The vines, cultivated using the Gobelet method, sink their roots into a subsoil rich in stones and limestone, and are worked following principles that strictly adhere to organic farming. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest phase by the team of Château Musar, ferment spontaneously in steel containers, also undergoing malolactic fermentation here. The maturation then lasts for 3 months, and is always carried out in steel.
The Bianco Jeaune wine made by Château Musar has a light color, reminiscent of straw yellow. On the nose, it is crisp, with complex aromas that shift from white-fleshed fruit to notes of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it has a beautiful harmony, developing on a sip whose texture is marked by a pleasant freshness combined with a mineral vein. A bottle that presents itself with an aromatic dress, ideal to pair with those recipes where fish, cooked in various preparations, is the absolute protagonist.
