The Bianco Buonamico is a white wine from the Lucca area, produced from a blend of different white grape varieties. Floral notes, hints of white fruit, citrus aromas, and essences of aromatic herbs intertwine on a fresh, balanced, and enveloping structure, with fruity accents.

The Bianco di Buonamico is a wine that tells the story of one of the most interesting areas of Lucca, the eponymous region of Montecarlo. A land that has been receiving acclaim and great recognition for years; thanks to the established wineries in the area that produce wines of extreme quality while respecting the place of origin. The Tenuta del Buonamico is undoubtedly a reference point in the area and positions itself as one of the great stars of national and international markets. Since 2008 under the ownership of the Fontana family, the wines interpret the territory in a modern key, providing a new vision and extracting all the nuances of the vocated region of Montecarlo, through the use of the most innovative technologies. In this case, we are talking about a blend of 6 white grapes, some international, imported more than a century ago by a winemaker who loved France, and some native to Tuscany. An expression, therefore, with different faces and shades, strongly tied to its land of origin.

The white wine of the Tenuta del Buonamico is born in the locality of Cercatoia, among the most vocated of the area (almost to be considered as a cru), from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, Semillon, Roussanne, and Chardonnay. The soils are medium-textured and have a clayey and sandy matrix, the training system is Guyot, and the exposure is northeast. The harvest of the grapes is done manually in small crates during the night hours, also using a modern harvesting machine. Each variety is treated individually, vinified and aged in steel, then blended to compose the final blend.

The Bianco Buonamico colors the glass with a clear and very bright straw yellow. On the nose, it is a intertwining of citrus notes, plum, aromatic herbs, and light floral essences. On the palate, it reveals a very fine and delicate texture, with a fragrant, fresh, and smooth sip, with intense fruity echoes! To be tried with fish or vegetable appetizers, or with delicate first courses based on catch from the Tyrrhenian Sea!
