Bolgheri Rosso 'Noi 4' Tenuta Sette Cieli 2023

The Bolgheri Rosso “Noi 4” is a Tuscan expression of the Bordeaux blend from Tenuta Sette Cieli, a relatively recent reality in the Bolgheri territory. This area, highly suited for vine cultivation, has earned the merit of making the local interpretation of international grape varieties famous worldwide. The proximity to the sea, the abundant presence of woods, the mineral composition of the soils, and the gentle morphology of the hills are the ingredients that allow for the creation of excellent wines, capable of shaping their unique identity over the years.

The Tenuta Sette Cieli “Noi 4”, produced in only 5,000 bottles, comes from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, varieties cultivated organically at sea level. The grapes, hand-picked only after a careful selection in the vineyard, undergo alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with about 20 days of maceration on the skins. At the end of the first fermentation, the wine is placed in French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging of about 14 months.

To the eye, the Bolgheri DOC “Noi 4” reveals a beautiful bright ruby red color. The nose is characterized by intense notes of ripe red fruits and Mediterranean scrub, as well as fine spiciness, while the palate is full-bodied, appropriately tannic, and has remarkable savory persistence.
