CAVA BRUT NATURE RESERVA 24 RIMARTS DESCRIPTION

Cava Brut Nature Reserva 24 Rimarts is a Classical Method of great purity, which focuses above all on fruity fragrance and clear freshness. According to the best tradition of the region, it is made from the local indigenous grape varieties, which give the sparkling wine its typical profile and unmistakable personality. The very low dosage enhances the varietal aromas of perfectly ripe grapes, giving a very expressive wine of pleasant immediacy. It is an ideal bottle to enjoy as an aperitif with friends or to accompany delicately flavoured seafood hors d'oeuvres.

The Brut Nature Reserva 24 by Rimarts is a Cava of excellent quality, confirming the great attention that this small family-run business dedicates to its work. Rimarts owns a splendid estate, that covers around fifteen hectares, managed under organic farming in the classic area where Spain's most famous sparkling wine comes from. It produces a range of labels with an artisanal profile, perfectly expressing the historical tradition of this land of Catalonia. The clusters of Xarel-lo, Macabeu and Parellada are the fruit of a careful selection of the best estate plots. Once the harvest operations are completed, the grapes are softly pressed and vinified separately by variety. At the end of fermentation, the base wines are matured for a few months before being blended to create the final cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the classic method, with a minimum stay of 24 months on the lattes before manual dégorgement.

Rimarts' Cava Reserva 24 Brut Nature, thanks to a very low dosage enhances a clear and smooth sip, agile and endowed with a pleasant expressive tension. In the glass, it is pale straw yellow in colour with luminous greenish reflections. The perlage presents good fineness and persistence, it brings to the nose hints of citrus peel, floral scents, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, bread crust and toasted nuances. The entry on the palate is lively and taut, with delicate, harmonious and ripe fruit, leading to a finish of remarkable freshness and good persistence.
