The Champagne Brut Nature 'Les Semblables - Boréal' by Clandestin is a Blanc de Noirs aged for 24 months on the lees, naturally vinified with indigenous yeasts, without fining or dosage. The result is a champagne with a taut and vertical sip, very fresh and mineral, surrounded by a savory note that prolongs its persistence on the palate, tickled by a fine and constant bubble. An elegant sparkling wine with great personality!

The Champagne Brut Nature ‘Les Semblables – Boréal’ by Clandestin is crafted as an artisanal sparkling wine with a emotional tension developed in the Côtedes Bar. The Clandestin production reality was born as a joint venture between Bertrand Gautherot, the historic founder of the Champagne estate Vouette et Sorbée, and Benoit Doussot, a young Burgundy vigneron. The goal of the two is to enhance the area of the Côtedes Bar, long overshadowed by the more renowned areas of Champagne. Furthermore, Bertrand and Benoit chose to focus on old parcels located near the small village of Buxières-sur-Arce, long considered less suited due to the cooler temperatures and the westward exposure of the vineyards. This is the basis of the extraordinary verticality and agility of Clandestin's Champagnes.

‘Les Semblables – Boréal’ Clandestin Champagne Brut Nature is a pure Pinot Noir, thus a Blanc de Noirs, from vines cultivated under organic farming on kimmeridgian limestone, with a western exposure. The grapes are vinified in white through a delicate pressing, followed by the spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must in French oak barrels, where the liquid rests for several months on the fine lees. Once ready, the sparkling base is bottled and added with the liqueur de tirage for the second fermentation according to the Champenoise Method, with at least 24 months of aging sur lie before the non-dosage.

Clandestin Champagne Brut Nature ‘Les Semblables – Boréal’ is a bright straw yellow color with delicate and persistent bubbles. The nose is dominated by peculiar and irresistible citrus and marine descriptors, associated with fine floral notes. Fresh and dynamic on the palate, characterized by a persistent mineral drive.
