The Chianti Classico Riserva by Brancaia is clearly a point of reference in the Chianti wine; a red wine that for many years received appreciation of fans and wine guides and that has contributed to the history of this denomination. We are in Poppi, between Castellina and Radda in Chianti, in a winery that has found the right size in 1981 thanks to Brigitte and Bruno Widmer, two Swiss who decide to engage in the production of wine. Just a few months and the dream is realized: a dream that is based on quality, uncompromising desire to produce wines, wines of character. The Chianti Classico Riserva comes from the best grapes of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes sun-kissed and exposed to mild winds from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Brancaia the must let soak for 20 days in contact with the skins and follows a refinement of 16 months in tonneuax partly new and partly not first pass, and then to stabilize the wine in the bottle for at least another eight months. A refinement that gives intensity and complexity to the Chianti Classico Riserva by Brancaia that shows notes of red fruits, leather and vanilla; we are faced with a Chianti Classico Riserva soft and elegant, offering sweet and ripe tannins absolutely...
