Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero by SoloUva is a sparkling wine made with Chardonnay grapes produced according to the SoloUva method without the addition of exogenous sugars; the second fermentation in bottle is activated by the addition of frozen must. The olfactory bouquet is fresh and airy with honey, green herbs, apple and orange echoes, while the fresh and enveloping sip is animated by a lively bubble and a long savory finish

The Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero SoloUva is a Lombard sparkling wine based on Chardonnay characterized by a sincere and authentic balance. It is nice to see how, even in the making of bubbles, interesting innovations can be found, just like those proposed by the "SoloUva" method, born from a simple concept: the grape is a fruit, and as such, it must be harvested at the right moment of its ripening. The label presents itself at the peak of genuineness also thanks to the fact that it lets the terroir speak through the choice to create a Dosaggio Zero, which does not involve the use of dosage liqueur. A bottle to try to always keep up with the novelties. 

The Dosaggio Zero SoloUva originates from Chardonnay grapes cultivated in the plots located near Erbusco, on predominantly clayey and morainic soils. The vines, which are about 15 years old, are carefully tended throughout the year, and the Chardonnay bunches are harvested only when the berries have reached full phenolic maturity, with a postponed harvest. The "SoloUva" method, a variant of the Classic Method that gives its name to the winery itself, consists precisely in bringing to harvest grapes capable of offering a sugar level able to replace the exogenous sugars, normally used during the production process, with the "natural" sugar present in the grape. After a soft pressing, the must ferments for the first time in steel tanks, and then undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle thanks to the addition of frozen must made following the principles that govern the "SoloUva" method. The sparkling wine remains on the lees for 36 months, and at the time of disgorgement, no dosage liqueur is added.

The Franciacorta SoloUva announces itself in the glass with a bright and luminous straw yellow color; the texture of the bubbles visible to the eye is dense, with a fine grain and persistent duration. The olfactory spectrum orchestrates around notes in which the fruit presents itself with different nuances, enriched by slight herbaceous hints and nuances of yeasts and flowers.
