Frizzante 'La Mossa' Casa di Baal 2023

"La Mossa" by Casa di Baal is the latest addition to the family, a sparkling wine produced with natural refermentation in the bottle from Fiano and Moscato Giallo grapes. A label in tune with the times that plays on simplicity and drinkability: a fresh image with vaguely hipster memories of Campania! The presence of Moscato Giallo in the blend gives this sparkling wine pleasant and delicate aromatic notes on the nose, adding even more liveliness to the sip.

Casa di Baal produces this sparkling wine "La Mossa" primarily from Fiano grapes, combined with clusters of Moscato Giallo that are grown at about 150 meters above sea level in Montecorvino Rovella, in the heart of the Colli di Salerno, on soils rich in clay and silt with little skeletal presence. In the vineyard, organic farming is practiced, certified on the label since 2010, accompanied by biodynamic practices such as the use of horn manure. The base wine is obtained from grapes fermented with the skins for three days. The base wine is obtained from grapes spontaneously fermented that macerate in contact with the skins for three days, while for the refermentation only fresh must obtained from the pressing of Moscato grapes left to naturally dry on the racks is used.

The sparkling wine "La Mossa" by Casa di Baal is a bottle refermented wine that stands out for its agile and joyful drinkability, the perfect sip for an aperitif with some snacks and many friends. Visually, it presents a slightly hazy straw yellow color, due to the presence of exhausted yeasts that are not voluntarily removed through disgorgement to keep the wine more authentic. On the nose, it has aromas of fresh flowers and bread crust, while on the palate it reveals its simplicity; pleasantly refreshing!
