The "Ponte dei Santi" is a Greco di Tufo from one of the reference wineries in the Irpinian area. Villa Raiano was established in 1996 and currently manages 27 hectares, in an environmental context rich in biodiversity, thanks to large areas of forests. The Greco vineyards at the base of this label are located in the Ponte dei Santi fraction of the municipality of Altavilla Irpina, at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. The cool and breezy climate, of a continental character, and the soils composed of silt, sand, and interspersed with clay veins, are very suitable for native white grape varieties, which have dwelled in this land for millennia and whose origins may date back to the time of the first Greek colonization of Campania. The grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The aging takes place in steel tanks on fine lees for one year and is completed with an additional year in the bottle.
