From our sommeliers

The Maranges 1er Cru 'La Fussière' from the Rouges Queues winery is a Pinot Noir, an artisanal expression of the Maranges territory. The vineyard, situated on clay soils, is managed entirely according to biodynamic principles. The grapes ferment spontaneously in wooden barrels, and the wine then ages in used barriques. A proud yet slight palate, with hints of fresh mountain strawberries and light Mediterranean notes of olives with hints of spices.

the approach in the vineyard, in the cellar, human intervention is minimized, allowing processes to occur spontaneously, just like the fermentation that takes place thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. As per tradition, aging takes place in wooden barrels.

The Maranges "La Fussière" is dressed in an impenetrable dark cherry red cloak. On the nose, it reveals notes of small red fruits, cherry, strawberry, and a pleasant spicy and peppery nuance. The sip is juicy and of great purity, with a refined elegance and a pleasant savory trail. A top-class wine with crystalline class capable of evolving over time!
