The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the Cingilia winery is a soft and deep red wine, vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged in steel and bottle. Rich and enveloping on the palate, the sip is supported by a dense tannic structure that leaves room for soft final notes of sweet spices and vanilla, which return to the nose in a wide and fragrant bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruit take center stage. To be tried with a platter of aged cheeses and Abruzzese cold cuts!

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Fabio Di Donato from the Cingilia winery is a bottle that can effectively express the most immediate character of the denomination. In fact, to highlight the primary attributes of the grape varieties he cultivates, winemaker and enologist Fabio Di Donato exclusively produces monovarietal wines through vinifications and aging in only steel containers. Excluding the use of wood and entrusting the fermentations to indigenous yeasts and bacteria, the producer aims to enhance the most authentic character of the Colline Pescaresi, specifically from the subzone Terre di Casauria.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cingilia is a 100% Montepulciano from 40-year-old vines trained in the Abruzzese pergola on clay-limestone soils, characterized by an excellent southwest exposure. The altitudes range between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, while the agronomic management involves the use of only substances of mineral and vegetable origin. The grapes, hand-picked in the second half of October, are vinified in red in stainless steel tanks through spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with pied de cuve and 8-10 days of maceration on the skins. Once the spontaneous malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine matures for several months in steel on the fine lees and after an additional year of aging in the bottle, it is finally ready for final commercialization.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the small estate Cingilia is of intense ruby red color with purplish hints. Lively and broad on the nose, defined by aromas of ripe red fruit meeting light sensations of sweet spices. On the palate, it is warm, rich and enveloping, with a dense tannic structure accompanying the intense fruity finish.
