The "Bronzone" is a full-bodied and structured expression of Morellino, aged in barrique for 14 months. It is a red wine with intnse perfumes of red fruits, graphite and wild spices. The taste is rich and well-structured, with savory aromas and velvety tannins

The “Bronzone” Reserve is a Morellino di Scansano that expresses an excellent combination of power, identity, and personality. It is a Sangiovese with a strong character, born from the estates of the Mazzei winery in the Tenuta Belguardo in Maremma, capable of being forgotten in the cellar for the next five years, ensuring a development that is nothing short of interesting. It pairs well with agnolotti with ragù, with meat dishes, both white and red, or game.

The “Bronzone” is a Morellino di Scansano Reserve that originates from pure Sangiovese grapes, a variety that is truly representative of Tuscan winemaking. The plants of this variety grow at about 70-130 meters above sea level, with a south and southwest exposure, rooting in a soil composed mainly of sandstone and alberese. The Tenuta Belguardo - Mazzei harvests manually around the second half of September. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments by macerating on the skins for a period of 14 to 16 days. The aging takes place in barriques, 40% new, for 14 months, at the end of which it is ready to be bottled and marketed.

This red wine Morellino di Scansano Reserve “Bronzone” from the Tenuta Belguardo - Mazzei presents itself to the eye with a beautiful color, which appears typically ruby. The nose is broad and complex, initially announcing notes of red fruit, then shifting towards floral sensations and more tertiary touches, especially spicy. On the palate, it has excellent volume, with a full and enveloping body, endowed with a mineral sip and finely integrated tannins in the overall structure. A bottle of great charm, which tells in a sip that little corner of Maremma.
