The Nizza "Parcella B5" by Sette is the winery's structure wine, a selection of the best grapes from a single plot of land. Production is now totally converted to organic and only indigenous yeasts are used in the winery. This Nizza ages for more than 4 years between barrels, amphorae and bottle to smooth out the exuberance of Barbera and create an elegant, lively red. On the nose there are hints of evolved red fruits, sweet spices and hints of licorice, on the palate warmth and freshness find the balance that balances the clean and persistent sip.

The Nizza “Particella B5” is the flagship label of the Piedmontese winery Sette, which produces great wines with an artisanal character. Thanks to a careful and meticulous approach, it offers a range of bottles made with extreme care that can express in a frank and transparent way the peculiarities of one of the most vocated areas for the production of this great red. Far from simple, young, and fragrant versions, this is a wine that results from a long aging process, which tempers its youthful exuberance and enhances its qualities of balance, harmony, complexity, and longevity. Absolutely worth trying to discover an unprecedented face of Barbera.

The Barbera Il Nizza “Particella B5” is born in the heart of the generous lands of Monferrato. The winery Sette was created in 2017 and has a small estate managed in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, under a regime of organic and biodynamic agriculture. Among the rows, chemistry was immediately banned to recover a more direct relationship with the ecosystem and to favor the natural fertility of the soils. The grapes come from the best parcels of the estate, cultivated at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, on soils composed of limestone marls. The best bunches are subjected to spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a maceration on the skins of about 40 days with submerged cap. The wine matures for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, for 10 months in terracotta containers, and ages for 30 months in the bottle.

The red Nizza “Particella B5” from the winery Sette is a wine of fine fabric, which surprises for its perfect balance and its predisposition to important pairings with roasted red meats or small game on the spit. It presents in the glass a dark ruby red color with slight purple reflections. The olfactory profile is rich and complex, with aromas of wild blackberry, plum, small dark berry fruits, floral hints of violet, notes of blonde tobacco, chocolate, oriental spices, and licorice root. The entry on the palate is harmonious and rich, with mature and velvety tannins, a dense and broad fruit, dense and broad, which unfolds harmoniously towards a finish of remarkable aromatic persistence.
