The Berg Pinot Bianco from Colterenzio is a white wine from Alto Adige with a fresh and mineral profile, fermented and aged in wooden vats. The olfactory passport is composed of fruity tones of apple, pear, and citrus accompanied by hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it powerfully expresses all its freshness, unfolding into a finish of good persistence with memories of dried fruit.

The wine Pinot Bianco “Weisshaus” is an elegant and stimulating product, presenting itself with a calling card made up of freshness and fruity aromas. Colterenzio, a cooperative reality located in Appiano, elevates Pinot Bianco to a higher level, also thanks to the low yields in the vineyard, which, never exceeding 50 hectoliters per hectare, guarantee grapes of absolute quality from an organoleptic point of view. A white in which structure rhymes with finesse, where the tasting awakens the senses. Absolutely to be tried.

The “Weisshaus” is a pure Pinot Bianco that originates from vines whose age is around 40 years. Colterenzio cultivates the plants with the classic trellis, in vineyards located at an altitude of about 450 meters. We are in a terroir mainly characterized by morainic residues. The grapes, once harvested by the winery team, ferment alcoholically in wooden vats at controlled temperature, with bâtonnage carried out regularly. We then move on to the aging phase, where the wine rests for 10 months on its own yeasts, in wooden vats.

The “Weisshaus” is a Pinot Bianco that, to the eye, announces itself with a beautiful straw yellow color, crossed by reflections that, at the rim, take on greenerish contours. The nose is dominated by delicate and subtle olfactory sensations, in which the fruit, mainly white-fleshed, alternates with aromas reminiscent of mountain herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, with a sip characterized by a salty and fresh vein; it ends with an aftertaste characterized by a slightly almondy flavor. A label with which the Colterenzio winery reaffirms its love for Pinot Bianco, offering us an expression that can also be aged for a few years in the cellar, so as to taste it in a more evolved form.
