The Pinot Noir is the offspring of one of the international grape varieties that has adapted best to the pedoclimatic conditions of South Tyrol. Demanding and difficult to cultivate, Pinot Noir has found a perfect habitat in the beautiful sunny exposures and cool climate, especially in the areas of Egna, Montagna, Mazzon, and Gleno. The vineyards of Elena Walch are located at an altitude between 400 and 600 meters, with southeast or southwest exposure, and are cultivated on predominantly limestone soils with porphyry components. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks with skin maceration of the about 10 days. The wine matures partly in steel and partly in large 22-hectoliter oak barrels and completes the aging with a few months in the bottle before commercialization.

True to the grape and the characteristics of the terroir, it represents a bottle of great elegance and drinkability. In the glass, it presents itself with a bright and luminous ruby color. The aromas are characterized by floral notes, small red berry fruits, slight hints of underbrush, and elegant spicy nuances. The sip is fragrant, with crunchy and juicy fruit.
