Pinot Nero Rosé "Fallwind" by San Michele Appiano is a rosé wine of great freshness and delicacy that is born in the vineyards of the municipality of Appiano. With a delicate extraction of the must and a vinification and aging in steel, is obtained a juicy and fruity wine, with aromas of strawberry and wild berries, and with a simple and smooth drink

The Pinot Noir Rosé "Fallwind" from the San Michele Appiano winery is an Alto Adige wine made from one of the oldest cultivated red grape varieties in the region, which has acclimatized well to the pedoclimatic conditions of South Tyrol. It is produced using the Saignée method, which involves bleeding off juice from a red wine fermentation. This is an interpretation of rosé that produces rather structured wines with ripe and rich fruity aromas, typical of reds. The aging in steel preserves the fragrance of small red berries, giving a soft and enveloping sip, well balanced by a pleasantly refreshing finish.

The Pinot Noir Rosé "Fallwind" is produced by one of the most well-known names in the South Tyrol landscape. San Michele Appiano is a cooperative winery founded in the early 1900s, which has embarked on a path aimed at enhancing the territory through high-quality wines. The estate covers a total of 380 hectares, divided into many small parcels, belonging to 340 contributing members. The ability to manage vineyards in different areas for altitude, exposure and soil composition, allows the winery to cultivate the varieties in the most suitable place. The winery's style is linked to a very traditional idea of wine, which, starting from high-quality grapes, seeks to highlight the differences between the various terroirs.

The Pinot Noir Rosé "Fallwind" produced by the Alto Adige winery San Michele Appiano comes from grapes sourced from vineyards aged between 10 and 30 years, cultivated on the hills around Appiano, characterized by gravelly soils of ancient morainic origin, with sunny exposures facing south, southeast, and southwest. At the end of the bleeding, practiced during the red wine fermentation of Pinot Noir, the must is fermented in steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine matures for several months in concrete tanks. In the glass, it presents a rather intense pink color. The bouquet is rich and mature, with aromas of wild strawberries, currants, raspberries, and red berries. The sip is full-bodied, juicy, and with a fresh finish of good persistence.
