Roero Arneis Malvirà 2024

The white Roero Arneis signed by Malvirà is a beautiful expression of what the Arneis grape can give on the hills of the province of Cuneo. It is a young and lively wine, characterized by a refreshing and balanced drink. A label with which the Damonte brothers, owners of the winery, confirm their production philosophy, made of identity wines that manage, also thanks to the choice to conduct the vineyards in organic farming, to express the characteristics of the individual crus of origin. Just as happens with this Roero Arneis, natural and authentic, excellent to uncork both at aperitif time and during more informal dinners.

This Roero Arneis is born from the pure use of the homonymous indigenous grape, cultivated by the Malvirà winery within various vineyards scattered on clay, limestone, and sandy soils. The grapes are cultivated according to principles of organic farming, which allow for expressive and territorial clusters. The berries, carefully harvested during the month of September, they ferment alcoholically in steel containers, where they then remain to refine for a period ranging from 4 to 8 months, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled.

This Roero Arneis wine manifests itself visually with a very bright color, reminiscent of the shades of straw yellow. The olfactory spectrum that develops on the nose evokes refreshing sensations, where aromas of fruit, flowers, and wild herbs follow in a delicate balance of notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, and smooth, with a sip of pleasant freshness and a drink that is always harmonious. A label with which Malvirà allows us to connect with a simple and genuine expression of Arneis, an indigenous grape to which the winery dedicates several labels within its product range.
