The Arneis "Merica" from Cascina Ca' Rossa is a white wine of medium intensity and structure that presents a bouquet where notes of peach and broom stand out; the sip is savory and vertical, with a beautiful freshness and persistence

The Roero Arneis "Merica" by Cascina Ca' Rossa is a fresh and easy-drinking wine. Vinified and aged exclusively in steel, it has a fragrant and crunchy bouquet, making it delicate and pleasant during tasting. On the palate, one can perceive that typical persistent sapidity of the grape variety used, the Arneis. A precise label from an aromatic point of view, which has a strong gastronomic power in the kitchen.

This "Merica" Roero Arneis from Cascina Ca' Rossa originates from vineyards located near Canale d'Alba and Santo Stefano Roero. We are at about 200-250 meters above sea level, and the exposure of the plots, characterized by a sandy subsoil with the presence of marls and clay, faces south and southwest. The manual harvest of the clusters, grown according to the criteria of organic farming, takes place during the first decade of September. The processing of the must occurs in steel containers where fermentation is completed. The final aging lasts for two months and is carried out in steel. At the end of this short period, the wine is bottled, and after two months of further maturation in glass, it is ready to be marketed.

The "Merica" Roero Arneis from Cascina Ca' Rossa moves in the glass with a straw yellow color, characterized by some greener flashes. The nose has a simple and immediate profile, structured around a note of peach and floral hints where the broom flower stands out. On the palate, it has a medium intensity, with a savory and fresh sip that tells itself with immediacy. It finishes with a tasting finale of good persistence. A beautiful example of an excellent native Piedmontese grape variety, perfect both as an aperitif and during meals, especially paired with cereal soups, fish appetizers, and first courses of "sea".
