The Roero Arneis by Porello is a wine that comes from the heart of Roero to give voice to an important grape variety for the area, Arneis. It is a varietal of great interest for Piedmontese viticulture, which Porello works in steel to preserve the fragrance of the varietal aromas, capable of touching different notes, stimulating all those "noses" that will enjoy uncovering its most hidden olfactory nuances. A bottle that is a true wild card at the table, perfect for all seasons.
Arneis Roero by Porello is made from Arneis grapes grown in different vineyards, specifically San Michele, Renesio, Tanone, Vallupera, Bastia, and Colla. A true "puzzle" of different parcels, included in the municipalities of Canale and Vezza d'Alba and characterized by different exposures; the terroir is distinguished by its calcareous, sandy, and clayey subsoil. The fermentation of the must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks and lasts about 20 days. The final maturation phase takes
takes place on the lees in steel for several months, until the winery begins the bottling operations.The Arneis Porello presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow hue, characterized by some slight reflections that tend more towards greenish. The range of notes that envelops the nose outlines a very interesting olfactory weave, where flowers and fruit are expressed with different nuances, enriched by references to aromatic herbs and mineral effluvia. On the palate, it enters with the simplicity of excellent wines, highlighting a fresh and savory drink, linear and satisfying. It finishes with a dry aftertaste.
