Arrighi's Red 'Tresse Anfora' is made from grapes from a single vineyard, a true cru of the winery, located on a luminous plateau on the island of Elba. The blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Sagrantino is aged in 800-litre amphorae for over a year to express the natural character of the fruit with great purity. The nose reveals notes of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and currant, with a floral touch of violets and spices such as black pepper. The palate is structured and powerful, with robust tannins and a good final freshness
