Marcel Zanolari's Rosso di Valtellina 'Indisciplinato Anfora' is a Nebbiolo wine made from partially dried grapes, a sort of small-scale Sforzato. Both fermentation and ageing take place in amphorae, with minimal intervention. The nose reveals aromas of wild berries and ripe red fruits, raisins, with subtle hints of spice on the finish. On the palate, it is concentrated and enveloping, perfect for accompanying mushroom or game dishes such as venison stew with chestnuts
