Franz Haas Sauvignon is made up of 100% of the namesake grape variety. The grapes come from vineyards located in the municipality of Montagna, in the province of Bolzano, at an altitude ranging from 400 to 800 meters above sea level. The soils are derived from dolomitic erosion and, therefore, give the grapes a distinctive mineral trace.distinctive. Once harvested, the grapes are left to macerate cold for a night in contact with their own skins. They are then pressed and transformed into must, which ferments partly in steel containers and partly in barrique. In the same containers, it undergoes aging for about 8 months, in contact with the yeasts. After this period, the batches are assembled in steel tanks.

The white Sauvignon by Franz Haas has a pale straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. Its aromatic profile is multifaceted and surprising, shifting from fruity notes of white peach and elderflower to those particular of dried fruit and oriental spices.
