The Sylvaner from Cantina Valle Isarco is a typical and fresh mountain white wine produced at over 500 meters on the gravelly and alluvial soils of South Tyrol. The aging in steel preserves the fruity freshness, perceivable on the nose through notes of peach, yellow apple, citrus, and apricot. The freshness and a slight aromatic note guide the tasting and make it pleasant and agile

The Sylvaner from Cantina Valle Isarco is the symbolic wine of the territory, the one that best represents the typicality of this small alpine valley, now established as one of the areas where some of the best whites of Alto Adige and beyond are produced. The grape variety, native to Central Europe, has adapted very well to the cool climate and the poor, stony soils of the Valle Isarco and today is capable of producing a white of great elegance and finesse, delicate and subtle, very harmonious and balanced. It is a label for refined palates, which, thanks to an exclusively steel vinification, allows for an appreciation of the varietal profile of the grape in a direct and straightforward manner.

The Sylvaner wine from Cantina Valle Isarco is born in a small cooperative founded in 1962 by the valley's winemakers. Even today, it has maintained modest dimensions, with a total of 150 hectares belonging to 130 member suppliers. The wines are a faithful reflection of the pedoclimatic characteristics of the territory, characterized by steep slopes and a cool climate, with strong temperature excursions. The Sylvaner is cultivated at an altitude between 500 and 800 meters, on gravelly soils of ancient morainic and alluvial origin, particularly rich in diorite and quartz rocks. These are very draining soils, which force the vine to descend deep into the bedrock to seek water and nutrients. At the end of the harvest operations, the grapes are taken to the winery for gentle pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine matures on the fine lees in steel tanks for a few months before being bottled.

The white Sylvaner from Cantina Valle Isarco is the result of a laborious mountain viticulture, conducted with manual work, in small plots torn from the rock. Vines on steep slopes or terraced, producing little excellent quality grapes. The label is part of the collection of the Classic wines of Eisacktaler Kellerei, created to showcase the authentic face of various grape varieties. In the glass, it presents a light straw yellow color with subtle greenish reflections. Clear and bright, it captivates with a very delicate bouquet, characterized by fragrant aromas of white-fleshed fruit, green apple, peach, and hints of wild mountain herbs. The palate is harmonious, delicate, and elegant, with a fresh and savory finish of great taste balance. A great white to discover.
