The Vodka Boatyard Distillery is the result of a long tradition. The distillery boasts over a century of experience, although its recent history began only in 2013, when Joe McGirr took the helm. After a long experience in various Scottish distilleries, Joe decided to commit to the production of distillates in Ireland, with the desire to create of high-level labels. The result has been achieved in a few years and today the brand is among the most highly regarded overall. The Vodka is produced only with Irish grain sourced from carefully selected local growers as partners in the project, able to ensure a supply of excellent quality cereals. All supplies are traceable and the company is able to trace exactly which field corresponds to each single batch of Vodka. At the end of the distillation process, which takes place in traditional stills, the Vodka is so pure that it is not even filtered, in order to preserve its expressive integrity and its clear aromatic charge.
The Vodka Boatyard Distillery is the result of a corporate vision that makes purity and sustainability the two main values of the production process.
