Wine Box Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore 'Rive' Val d'Oca

The Wine Box Prosecco from Valdobbiadene Superiore ‘Rive’ is a package signed by the Venetian winery Val d’Oca that offers a suggestive overview of the valuable Valdobbiadene Prosecco ‘Rive’ produced by the estate. The name of this cooperative, which has over 600 contributing members, comes from the toponym of the hill covered with vineyards where the modern winery is located. Today, Val d’Oca cultivates plots located in 9 of the 43 Rive recognized in the denomination, with as much as 120 hectares of ownership out of the total 494, almost 25% of the entire dedicated vineyard area. Since 2019, these subzones with a high viticultural vocation, characterized by often extreme slopes, have been officially recognized as Additional Geographical Units of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene denomination.

Inside the Wine Box Val d’Oca Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore ‘Rive’ there are two bottles of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut 'Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza', two bottles of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry 'Rive di Colbertaldo' and two bottles of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Brut 'Rive di Santo Stefano', all sparkling wines signed by Val d’Oca. In particular, the Rive di Santo Stefano and the Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza are located within the municipality of Valdobbiadene while the Rive di Cobertaldo are located in the municipality of Vidor. These are three heterogeneous expressions of Glera, all sparkling wines made using the Charmat method, which represent the absolute excellence of the Val d’Oca winery, the result of the challenging but satisfying work of the contributing members. These bubbles are then bottled with three different dosages, from Extra Brut to Extra Dry, passing through Brut.

The Wine Box Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Val d’Oca ‘Rive’ therefore focuses on the different facets of the most vocated territories included in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco denomination.
