Feral is a modern and innovative production reality that offers a unique selection of non-alcoholic fermented beverages, different from kombucha and dealcoholic wines. This young Italian start-up was born in 2023 among the Dolomite peaks of Trentino from the love of nature shared by Maddalena Zanoni, Sebastiano Pontalti and Andrea Frigerio, a close-knit team of botanists, scientists, sommeliers and fermentation enthusiasts. Feral is based in the municipality of Mezzolombardo, where the transformation and bottling of fermented wines takes place. As for the name 'Feral', this derives from the English term of the same name, which can be translated as 'wild', with particular reference to an animal or plant that has returned to the wild state after a period of captivity or domestication. In fact, the reality of Maddalena, Sebastiano and Andrea intends to challenge conformism and norms, in order to experiment freely and creatively.

Feral beverages are produced from humble, often lowly ingredients such as beetroot, both white and red. Its juice is then subjected to a lactic fermentation through the action of specially selected strains of lactic acid bacteria, accompanied by theinfusion of carefully selectedherbs, woods, spices and roots. In particular, the ingredients used include hops, chilli, Sichuan pepper, ginger, clove pepper, juniper berries, blueberry juice concentrate, black pepper, thyme, lavender, oak and sugar. These ingredients come from organic farming, grown by trusted growers with whom the Feral guys collaborate. The production cycle is then completed by the pasteurisation process, which makes the drink stable at room temperature and safe even for pregnant women.

Feral's selection of labels includes botanical fermentates designed for table pairing, inspired in this by wine thanks to their natural freshness that favours gastronomic accompaniment. These fermentates are totally alcohol-free and effervescent and represent a peculiar category inaugurated by the Feral boys themselves, in line with the demand of modern consumers, increasingly oriented towards healthy and alternative drinks.
