Amrut distillery, a name that means "Elixir of Life," is the Indian leadership in the production of alcohol: honored with international awards, his whisky entered in the top 10 of the Jim Murray’s Whiskey Bible. The origin of Amrut dates back to 1948, in an India that has achieved independence from Britain.

Thanks to commercial skills of its founder, Shri J.N. Radhakrishna, in a short time the distillery became the leader of the internal market; but it is only since the 80s, under the guidance of his son, Shri Neelakanta Rao Jagdale, that Amrut imposed worldwide.

The distillery production includes a wide range of bottles exported all over the world, born from the perfect combination of modern technology, innovative production processes and recovery of ancient traditions. Amrut Single Malt whisky is born, for example, by a careful study and by a Scottish consulting, but also from raw materials and Indian climatic conditions. Selected Indian barley, Himalayan water, traditional copper stills, aging in barrels at 1000 meters altitude in the 'garden city' of Bagalore, tropical climatic conditions, all this allow the creation of a traditional spirit with a unique and original flavor.

The excellence of Amrut is a given fact by several years and its fame is fueled by legions of fans around the world conquered by the inimitable style of its distillates. It is a large and diverse range of products, in which stand the whiskies, real elixir of life.
