Il Sasso's Amarone Classico is an intense red wine produced on some of the most extreme terraces in Valpolicella. It maintains a profile of rare freshness, thanks in part to ageing in ceramic containers without the use of oak. The nose reveals dried cherries, plums and dark spices, while the palate is warm, dense and textured, with great tension and a savoury finish. Rich and concentrated, it pairs well with red meats and mature cheeses, with dishes such as horse stew
