Luis Pato's Baga 'Vinha Pan' tells a peculiar story: it comes from vines that are harvested twice, the first early in August, to produce the sparkling wine. In September, fewer grapes are harvested, which ripen and concentrate even more. The result is a very full-bodied wine, both on the nose and palate, predisposed to age for a long time. On the nose, dark notes of black fruits and violets, with liquorice and black pepper opening the sip. In the mouth it impresses with its tannic texture and savouriness. Perfect with red meats and game dishes
