Belcolle's Barbera d'Alba 'Ape Reale' evokes tradition, the freshness of the grape variety and the poetry of the Langhe wine-growing landscape, both in the glass and in its name. The vinification is essential, with processing and ageing in steel only, to restore the juicy and fruity taste of the most immediate Barbera. The nose reveals very fresh red fruit and light spicy notes. The palate is smooth, fresh and dynamic, with a dry and sharp finish. Excellent with white meats and mild cheeses
