The Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc "Moser Family" by Chateau Changyu Moser XV is a peculiar and distinctive white wine. It is an experimentation of one of the first Chinese wineries, a Chateau born from the collaboration with the Moser family: a white produced with non-macerated Cabernet grapes. An original choice that manages to express a terroir like that of Ningxia. Red apple, white flowers and slight hints of vanilla surprise the nose, while the palate is intense, with great persistence. Perfect with intense fish dishes, an original wine from the 'new' New World of wine

The Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc “Moser Family” Chateau Changyu Moser XV is an original and prestigious label, highlighting the absolute quality now achieved by this historic reality of the Chinese wine scene. Thanks to a deep knowledge of the territory and the contribution of the Moser winery, expert in white winemaking, Chateau Changyu decided to challenge itself by producing a blanc de noirs based on Cabernet Sauvignon, a challenge that is certainly not easy. To raise the bar even further, it even chose a wood aging, on par with the greatest whites in the world from the lands of Burgundy.

The Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc “Moser Family” Chateau Changyu Moser XV is the culmination of a long research project on the noble French grape variety, conducted by this prestigious Chinese estate. Chateau Changyu, after over a century of history, in 2015 gave rise to a collaboration with the Austrian winery Moser with the intent of further elevating the level of production. The property is located in central-western China, in a region particularly suited for viticulture. The grapes come from Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards that are about 12 years old and are harvested slightly early to preserve freshness and avoid excessive sugar accumulation. The bunches are pressed very gently and the must is vinified in white. The wine matures for 12 months in new French oak barriques from the Nadilie and Vicard cooperages, except for a small part that ages in stainless steel tanks. The wine then completes its aging with a few months in bottle before being released on the market.

The “Moser Family” Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc Chateau Changyu Moser XV is a label that falls among the great world-class whites, with the additional difficulty of being made from red grape varietals. In appearance, it is bright and clear, with a slight pale pink reflection. The aromatic profile evokes scents of white-fleshed fruit, Delizia apple, peach, hints of red currant, citrus notes, delicate floral and vanilla nuances. On the palate, it reveals a fine complexity.expressive, characterized by a soft and rich fruity sip, which unfolds towards a fresh and very persistent finish.
