Champagne Cuvée Tradition is the Brut of presentation of the maison Goutorbe, aged on the lees in bottle for over 36 months. Its clear, pleasant and delicate profile makes it ideal for aperitifs and elegant and formal appetizers. When tasted it is fresh, expressive, savory and very harmonious

The Cuvée Tradition by Henri Goutorbe is a Champagne with a classic face, made with a traditional blend of the three most cultivated grapes in Champagne: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. The Maison is located near the village of Aÿ, right in the heart of Champagne and has preserved a family spirit, which is expressed in Champagne with a typically artisanal, genuine, and particularly expressive profile of the terroir of origin. It is a label that tells very well the style of the Maison, oriented towards the production of delicate, fresh, and harmonious Champagnes. An ideal bottle to enjoy at the time of the aperitif or with light appetizers.

The Cuvée Tradition is a Brut Champagne that originates from a small family Maison in the Grand Cru of Aÿ, just a stone's throw from the famous town of Epernay. The Goutorbe family boasts a long tradition in viticulture and particularly in nurseries, which has been passed down from generation to generation to this day. The current vineyards are the result of a selection of the best plants, with genetic characteristics suitable for producing high-quality grapes, also in relation to the particular pedoclimatic conditions of each single parcel. The domaine extends over a total of 22 hectares, with vineyards in Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Ay, Bisseuil, and Dizy. The soils rich in limestone and mineral salts are ideal for producing excellent grapes, with intense and rich aromas. Careful vinifications and maximum respect for the unique character of the territory allow for the creation of labels of great value.

The Brut Cuvée Tradition by Henri Goutorbe is a Champagne made with a very high percentage of Pinot Noir, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The fermentations are conducted parcel by parcel in stainless steel tanks. At the end of the maturation period, during which the base wines also undergo malolactic fermentation, the final cuvée is created with 70% of vintage wines and 30% of reserve wines. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Champenoise, with a period of aging on the lees of at least 36 months. In the glass, it presents a bright straw-yellow color, with bright straw-yellow, with brilliant reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it recalls floral aromas, white-fleshed fruit, citrus, pastry, and honey. The sip is rich and harmonious, with a wide and expressive entry, closing on pleasantly fresh notes.
