The Champagne Extra Brut "Rive Gauche" is Blanc de Noirs produced from Pinot Meurnier, vinified in oak barrel and aged for 32 months on the lees in bottle. Its perfumes are intense and dry, vegetal and fruity, and its taste is fresh and very fruity, with notes of red fruit and spices, well-structured and persistent

The Extra Brut Champagne "Rive Gauche" is a Blanc de Noirs made with pure Pinot Meunier, sourced from the oldest vines of the estate of the Maison. It is a Champagne intense, complex, and well-structured, that on the nose recalls aromas of citrus, small red berry fruits, hints of spices, and toasted bread. The sip is rich and satisfying, deep and persistent. It is a perfect bottle to bring to the table and enjoy throughout the meal, even with more significant menus.

The Extra Brut Champagne "Rive Gauche" is produced by Maison Bérèche et Fils, which has been producing quality Champagne in Ludes in the heart of the Montagne de Reims area for five generations. The estate consists of numerous parcels, but the most important vines are located in the Premier Crus of Ludes and Ormes, in the Montagne de Reims region and others in the Vallée de la Marne area. To create the "Rive Gauche," Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne are used, particularly from the Maisoncelle and Côteaux Chataîgner parcels located in Mareuil le Port at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level. These are old vines over 45years old planted in deep soil of clay, limestone, and sands, which give grapes of great aromatic concentration. Once the harvest is complete, the vinification of the vins clairs takes place in wood, and after a few months of aging on the lees, the cuvée is created. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, with aging on the lees for at least 36 months before disgorgement.

The Extra Brut Pinot Meunier “Rive Gauche” from Maison Bérèche et Fils is a beautiful example of terroir Champagne. Not only do the grapes come from a small area of the Vallée de la Marne and from a single vintage, but also from a single grape variety, the Meunier, which has always been the undisputed protagonist of this area of the Champagne region. It is the ideal label for those who want to know the most typical characteristics of the Vallée de la Marne territory and its historic grape variety. In the glass, it has a beautiful bright golden yellow color, with a very fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is intense and of great finesse, with fresh citrus notes, aromas of currants and small berries, vegetal nuances, hints of bread crust, and spices. On the palate, it showsimmediately richness and complexity, with ample sip that extends voluptuously towards a finish of clear freshness.
