From our sommeliers

The Chardonnay from Feudi di Romans is a delicate and fresh white wine that originates near the Isonzo River. The vinification and aging in steel preserve all the integrity and freshness of the fruit. Primarily fruity notes of citrus, apple, and pear with light floral and mineral hints animate a balanced and clean body, endowed with minerality and a pleasantly savory finish.

This Chardonnay is a truly inviting wine that, once tasted, captivates with its pleasantness in an almost instinctive drink. Whether it's due to the elegantly hinted aromatic bouquet or the fresh sip, this label signed by Feudi di Romans pleases all enthusiasts. Moreover, as if that weren't enough, we are talking about a bottle that, like almost all the wines from the winery, comes at a final price that is nothing short of convenient, providing further incentive to taste it.

The Chardonnay Feudi di Romans originates from those vineyards owned by the winery that line the winding course of the Isonzo River, the most symbolic and historical waterway of all Friuli. Here, the terroir is characterized by a subsoil predominantly made up of pebbles, gravel, and sand. The pressing of the grapes during winemaking is gentle, and the must obtained from this delicate operation begins to ferment in steel tanks for 12 days, at a temperature that is kept constantly under control. The final aging then takes place always in steel for a few months, during which the wine has the right time to stabilize and mature while waiting for bottling.

The white Chardonnay from Feudi di Romans presents itself to the eye with a straw-yellow hue, crossed by flashes that tend more towards gold. Light and subtle is the array of aromas that spreads to the nose, where the fruit, taking on different shapes and nuances, moves alongside floral touches and more mineral hints. On the palate, it is light-bodied, moderate, with a sip of excellent quality, orchestrated around fresh and savory flavors that make the sipping smooth. A label that makes the aperitif hour an event to look forward to with a certain impatience.
