Chianti Classico is the label that best interprets the spirit and style of the famous Tuscan winery Querciabella, which has now become a solid point of reference for all lovers of the Chianti region. The impeccable management of the vineyards, the consistently excellent quality of the grapes and a delicate vinification process result in an elegant, floral and fruity wine. It is a Sangiovese of the highest level, highlighting the best qualities, not only of the grape variety, but also of a land of ancient traditions, for centuries vocated for viticulture. It is one of the most important bottles of the denomination, which rightfully belongs to the elite of Tuscan wine.

Querciabella's Chianti Classico wine comes from a model estate, managed with full respect for the environment, according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Greve, Radda and Gaiole, in some of the most qualitatively interesting areas of the Chianti Classico district, and are surrounded by large wooded areas that guarantee rich biodiversity. The grapes come from plots located at an altitude of between 350 and 550 metres above sea level, with sunny south-east, south and south-west-facing exposure. The soils are characterised by the presence of marl, sand and clay. After destemming, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for a dozen days. The wine is aged for a year in barriques and tonneaux, with only 5% new wood.

The red Chianti Classico Querciabella is a paradigmatic wine, perfect for those who want to know the authentic face of the Chianti terroir summed up in a glass of great Sangiovese. Brilliant ruby red in colour, it offers delicate floral aromas of violets, fragrant aromas of ripe cherries, redcurrants, hints of underbrush, herbs, liquorice root, spicy nuances and hints of graphite. The entry on the palate is harmonious, with crisp fruit and a tannic texture well integrated with the body of the wine. The sip is long and balanced, with a savoury finish and clear freshness.
