The Chianti by Leonardo da Vinci is a Tuscan red wine with a fresh character and easy drinkability, maturing in temperature-controlled tanks. This label aims to celebrate one of the most renowned wine regions in the world, whose wines, exported to every corner of the globe, have become synonymous with Tuscan identity.
Leonardo Da Vinci ‘Uomo Vitruviano’ Chianti consists of a blend of Sangiovese (85%), Merlot (10%), and other black grape varieties grown in the hilly areas of Vinci and the surrounding municipalities, in the province of Florence. In particular, the vineyards rest on alluvial soils rich in marine shell fossils dating back to the Pliocene, situated at an altitude between 40 and 130 meters above sea level with various exposures, predominantly south-facing. The harvest takes place between September and October and is followed by the red winemaking of the grapes, with alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks associated with about 8 days of skin maceration. The subsequent aging lasts for a few months and takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks.climate-controlled.
Upon visual examination, the Chianti Leonardo Da Vinci ‘Uomo Vitruviano’ expresses a ruby red color with deep purple reflections.
