The Côtes du Rhône by Guigal is an intense and pleasantly rustic red wine from the Rhône Valley, made from Syrah and other local grapes, aged for about 18 months in oak barrels. It emanates spicy and wild aromas of underbrush, black fruit, and bramble berries. On the palate, it is intense, soft, fruity, and enveloping, with rounded tannins.
