Mayfair's Old Tom 'Maycat' Gin is a spirit created in the old Dutch style. It is produced in the heart of London and its name alludes to both 18th-century London, when rogues flouted a law restricting the sale of alcohol and created cat-shaped gin dispensers to conceal production. Citrusy with hints of liquorice and aniseed on the nose, it is balsamic and sweet on the palate, with a very smooth finish. Perfect as a base for spicy cocktails
