Aged Grappa from Nebbiolo pomace from the vineyards of Barolo, with an intense personality rich in toasted and woody aromas of red and dried fruit, velvety and persistent, aged for at leat 18 months in barrels and barrique
The Grappa di Barolo Riserva “Tuttogrado” is one of the products that Sibona decides to bottle at full strength, without any dilution, in order to maintain its energy and the power accumulated during the 18 months of aging spent in wood. We are therefore faced with a bottle with an intense, strong sip, which expresses itself on the nose with evolved and complex notes. A Grappa that comes from the pomace of one of the most well-known wines of Piemonte, Barolo, and which can therefore boast an important origin, making it an ideal product to gift to all enthusiasts of spirits with a certain prestige.
The “Tuttogrado” is a Grappa di Barolo Riserva that originates from the pomace of Nebbiolo from the Barolo DOCG production area, more precisely from the vineyards located in Serralunga d’Alba, Monforte, and La Morra, three of the most suited areas for this type. The pomace, arriving fresh at the distillery, is distilled on the same day of the harvest, to capture the maximum of the aromas and flavors contained within. At the end of the processing follows a first maturation phase in medium-sized barrels, which then continues in small oak and limousin barrels. At the end of aging, as suggested by the very name of the label, the grappa is bottled by Sibona at full strength, thus maintaining a considerable alcohol level.
The Riserva “Tuttogrado” is a Grappa di Barolo that presents itself visually with an amber yellow color, adorned with some reflections tending towards gold. Rich and layered on the nose, elegant, with an aromatic scale highlighting sweet spices, dried fruit, and a slight nuance of licorice. On the palate, it has an excellent body, enveloping, with a sip that is wrapping, endowed with an excellent persistence on the finish. A label with which the Sibona distillery gives voice to the Piemonte territory, interpreting it through the pomace of one of its most renowned and appreciated wines worldwide.
