The ‘NovaSerra’ by Mastroberardino is a Greco di Tufo from the Montefusco estate, produced from vines at over 550 m above sea level. The bouquet has fruity notes with mineral hintas and perfumes of aromatic herbs. The taste is fresh, intense and persistence, with savory notes on the finish

The Greco di Tufo “Novaserra” is a great classic of the Campania winery Mastroberardino. It has personally dedicated itself to the recovery and revival of this ancient indigenous variety, now quite widespread but once on the verge of extinction. “Novaserra” comes from a rigorous selection of the best Greco di Tufo grapes, which it aims to pay homage to and exalt. Purity and character coexist in this wine of remarkable complexity, which tells the enveloping traits of its land of origin. The label features details of a painting by Raffaele De Rosa present on one of the vaults that make up the winery's aging cellar.

“Novaserra” is made entirely from Greco di Tufo grapes, sourced from the Tenuta Montefusco. Located 550 meters above sea level, it has a South-East exposure and consists of vines with an average age of around 15 years. The total 16 hectares of vineyard have a sandy-clay and limestone soil, originating from a mother rock of sandstone and marls. The volcanic contributions are numerous, while the organic content of the soil is rather scarce. All this contributes to creating unique terroir conditions, which then reverberate in the personality of the wine. The harvest takes place manually at the end of October. Fermentation occurs in steel containers, while aging takes place directly in the bottle for a period of 3 to 4 months.

Mastroberardino “Novaserra” is a Greco di Tufo with an intense straw-yellow color. On the nose, a fruity bouquet clearly emerges, composed of hints of pear and apple, peach and apricot, citrus and almond; the background is a blend of herbaceous notes of sage and mineral hints that refer back to the territory of origin. On the palate, freshness and sapidity elevate the full body, which brings with it an aromatic richness of ripe fruit. A wine with a complete sip that will prove valuable on the most diverse occasions.
