The Karmis by Contini is a white wine born in the vineyards of the picturesque Sinis area, from grapes of Vernaccia and Vermentino. Its intense yellow color recalls the light of summer days and in the glass reveals hints of white flowers, peach, and pineapple, with citrus tones of cedar. On the palate, it is soft and easy-drinking, showing its fresh and savory character and an aromatic persistence.

The Karmis by Contini is an intense, sunny, and Mediterranean white wine, born in Sardinia in the splendid unspoiled area of the Sinis peninsula and the valley of the Tirso river. It is a wine with a typically territorial profile, made from two classic grape varieties of the area: Vernaccia di Oristano and Vermentino. Along the western coast of the island, the two varieties express themselves with great richness and maturity of fruit, combined with a briny, savory, and marine character that marks its face as a true stylistic signature of the terroir. Fragrant, fruity, and with a harmonious sip, it is ideal to pair with a seafood menu.

The Contini Karmis wine is the result of the work of one of the most representative wineries in Sardinia. Contini was founded towards the end of the 19th century and has always worked to produce quality wines capable of enhancing the indigenous grape varieties of the Sinis territory. The wine is made from grapes of Vernaccia di Oristano and Vermentino, which come from vineyards cultivated in the valley of the Tirso river. The warm Mediterranean climate, mitigated by sea breezes and the Maestrale, and the predominantly alluvial soils, characterized by the presence of sands, are particularly suitable for the cultivation of white grape varieties. At the end of the harvest operations, the best bunches, selected directly in the vineyard, are subjected to a soft pressing. The must is sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine matures in vitrified cement and steel tanks for a few months before being put on sale.

The Karmis white is one of the most representative labels of the Sardinian winery Contini. In the glass, it presents a bright, intense light yellow color. The aromatic profile is rich and broad with notes of citrus, cedar peel, ripe yellow fruit, pineapple, hints of tropical fruit, nuances of orange blossom, and acacia flowers. On the palate, it has a good structure, with a soft and rich sip, pleasantly aromatic, leading to a savory finish of great freshness.Sardinia.
