The Malvasia "Miklus Natural Art" is a complex and very rich white wine from Collio, vinified with the skins in wood and aged in large barrels for 24 months. A very broad bouquet, which includes fruit, dried flowers, humus, and forest spices, enlivens a consistent and citrusy sip, with a long persistence!

The Malvasia Istriana from the line “Miklus - Natural Art” is an intense white wine from the Collio region produced with long skin maceration in conical oak vats. It is one of the most typical and territorial expressions of Draga, a producer that is becoming known and appreciated among enthusiasts for its great white wines vinified in red.

The grapes of Malvasia Istriana that give rise to the Malvasia “Miklus” from Draga come from 15-year-old vines trained in guyot on the typical soil of Collio, called ‘ponka’, made up of layers of marl and sandstone. In the winery, the grapes are gently destemmed and then subjected to a 5-day maceration without temperature control. During fermentation, the cap of skins is reintroduced into contact with the liquid part of the must every 3 days with manual punch downs. After racking, the wine continues to mature in large oak barrels on the fine lees for 24 months. A final aging in bottle of at least 6 months completes the production process.

The Malvasia “Natural Art” by Draga presents itself with a golden color tending towards amber, with a subtle and traditional haze. The aromatic profile is very broad and rich, with notes ranging from tropical fruit to humus, with spicy nuances of dried flowers and yellow straw. The taste is full-bodied and complex but not overpowering, characterized by good freshness and intense citrus aromas. To be enjoyed alone as a meditation wine or paired with elaborate dishes of fish, white meats, and moderately aged cheeses.
