It reveals fragrant and fruity notes, with subtle accents of aromatic herbs and citrus, accompanying a light, agile, fine, and pleasant sip, crossed by a clear mineral trail.
The wine "NM" from the Alto Adige winery Nals Margreid is a cuvée made from two international grape varieties that have been present in the region for centuries. The predominant percentage is made up of Chardonnay, which gives elegance, fruity richness, and harmony, combined with the freshness of the vegetal and slightly aromatic notes of Sauvignon Blanc. Two varieties with a distinct personality that come together complementarily in a blend with a classic, fresh, and fruity style. It is a wine very suitable for tasting as an aperitif or with vegetable or seafood appetizers, or with fish with white and delicate flesh.
The white "NM" is born in one of the most important and famous estates in Alto Adige. Nals Magreid manages a vineyard area of 150 hectares, which is owned by 140 small contributing members. Different terroirs and the presence of numerous grape varieties allow for the creation of original and high-quality wines. The wine is produced with a careful selection of grapes from some of the most interesting areas of the estate. The Chardonnay vines are harvested in the Magrè area, characterized by soils mainly of limestone origin and a fairly mild climate, particularly suitable for expressing the Burgundy white at excellent levels. The Sauvignon Blanc, on the other hand, is cultivated in the Nalles area, on soils generated by the disintegration of porphyry rocks, mixed with deposits of glacial moraine gravel. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with classic white winemaking. Before proceeding to bottling, the wine rests for a few months in steel tanks.
"NM" Nals Margreid represents the youthful face of a mountain white, direct and immediate, which makes expressive simplicity its true strength. In the glass, it presents a light straw yellow color, crossed by bright youthful greenish reflections. On the nose, it is intense, with aromas of orange blossom, white flowers, delicate hints of herbal notes, citrus aromas, fragrant white-fleshed fruit, melon, and peach.
