The Ortrugo by Bulli is a sparkling white wine with an excellent quality/price ratio that impresses with its light, fresh, and direct character. Notes of citrus, hints of yeast, and floral essences intertwine on a delicate, fruity structure with cheerful freshness.

The Ortrugo Frizzante by Bulli is a lively and sparkling white wine that captivates from the very first sip with its characteristic delicacy. Its light, straightforward, and direct taste makes it particularly pleasant to drink during aperitif time or with light appetizers. It is a sur lie sparkling wine, meaning it undergoes refermentation in the bottle, without subsequent dégorgement. Its floral aromas and fragrant white fruit, accompanied by a lively freshness, make it a true emblem of the Colli Piacentini territory.

The white Ortrugo Frizzante is produced by a historic winery in the Colli Piacentini. The Bulli family has been involved in viticulture in these lands since the early 1900s. The winery is located in Bacedasco, a small village in the province of Piacenza. The estate extends over a hilly area of about ten hectares, where the varieties that have always been present in these lands find their home: Barbera, Bonarda, and Ortrugo. The management of the vineyards is very respectful of the environment, and no chemical substances are used for treatments. The company philosophy is focused on the realization of artisan wines that can express the terroir in a straightforward and authentic way. A result achieved thanks to quality grapes and minimal enological interventions.

The Frizzante Ortrugo by Bulli expresses the joyful and carefree character that characterizes the wines of the Colli Piacentini. It is a label made with pure Ortrugo, a white grape variety typical of these lands, particularly suitable for sparkling wine production. The vineyards are cultivated on soils mainly consisting of sands and clays. After the gentle pressing of the grapes, the classic white winemaking process is carried out using only indigenous yeasts and then refermentation in the bottle sur lie, according to the Ancestral Method. In the glass, it presents a straw-yellow color, with a slight haze due to the presence of yeasts and a light and fine foam. The aromas mainly recall white-fleshed fruit, with floral nuances and hints of yeast and bread crust. On the palate, it has a delicate and juicy fruit that extends towards a very fresh finish, closing with savory notes.
