Pinot Bianco Russiz Superiore 2025
The Pinot Bianco from Russiz Superiore is a white wine that tells the story of all the freshness and elegance of the Friulian Collio. Vinified and matured exclusively in steel, it has a fragrant, straight profile, pleasantly soft and slightly savory, with great balance and cleanliness, featuring notes of wisteria, green apple, tropical fruit, and accents of citrus peels.
The Pinot Bianco Russiz Superiore is a delicious and juicy Friulian white, endowed with a fascinating and velvety texture. A velvet glove this white, produced by one of the most renowned wineries in the Friulian landscape and boasting a truly deep winemaking history, which began in the second half of the 1800s with Roberto's great-grandparents, currently at the helm of the family business. One of the secrets to the success of the Felluga family is precisely this, that is, passing down a tradition made of quality and attention to detail from generation to generation, although the last two generations have given an even more significant push in terms of traditional recognition. The Russiz Superiore winery works only with allochthonous grape varieties, which have become an integral part of Collio, providing engaging and exemplary interpretations. Stylistic focus and expressiveness thus merge into wines of which to make ample and secure stock, capable of challenging time by renewing themselves.
The Pinot Bianco wine is obtained from pure grapes of the same name, cultivated in Capriva del Friuli and coming from vineyards located between 80 and 200 m above sea level, resting on clay-sandy soils.clay-sandy. In the vineyard, great attention is paid to manual harvesting, in order to select the best bunches available. In the winery, cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation continue in steel containers, the same ones in which the liquid ages for 6 months in contact with its own yeasts.
The Pinot Bianco Russiz Superiore presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color edged with greenish reflections. An impactful nose, revealing aromas of ripe pear, peach, white flowers, and delicate mineral hints, drawing a sunny and approachable profile. The sip is no less, soft and filling but never cloying, endowed with a beautiful taste dynamic. Welcoming and proportionate liquid.
